Hints for Prospective Authors
The editors of KYKLOS prefer the following type of contributions:
Papers should deal succinctly with a topical economic and/or social
issue of interest to general (economically educated) readers. Papers
dealing with minor differences within economic theory are less welcome.
Papers should analyze a topic in an original way. (In the case of
a trade-off between originality and rigor, the editors tend to favor
the former.)
Papers going beyond the narrow boundaries of prevailing economics
(inter-disciplinary approaches) are particularly welcome.
The theoretical propositions should be supported by econometric
tests and historical or circumstantial evidence.
Both the institutional background and the empirical support should
be relevant for a variety of countries. Papers dealing with specific
issues for one particular country only are less desirable.
